(Family, Health, and Life) 2008
Latino Health Fair Picante Solutions, Inc. invites you to participate in the 2008 Latino Health Fair, titled Familia, Salud, y Vida, to encompass all aspects of a healthy lifestyle. Our goal is to foster awareness about the health problems that particularly affect the Latino community, as well as provide important information on health prevention and local health resources. The Northwest Latino population continues to grow and outpace the national average. Currently, 75% of the NW Latino community is under the age of 35, and one in every 3 newcomers to the state of Oregon is Latino. This event gives your organization the perfect opportunity to introduce your company to the Latino consumer, whether you offer preventive care services, nutritional information, chiropractic care, legal assistance, child safety seat installation, etc. Familia, Salud y Vida provides an educational outreach opportunity for organizations to inform Latino families of local services, resources, and contacts needed to lead healthy and active lifestyles. It is a free, family oriented event that will feature music, kids activities, health screenings, prevention tips, etc.
